Our patented platform combines thermochemical conversion with advanced gas purification — turning waste into a high-impact hydrogen source.
In the first phase, process-generated synthesis gas is used with oxygen as input. At temperatures of up to 1,600 °C, a powerful hot-gas stream is produced, serving as the energy source for the entire process.
Non-recyclable plastic, for example, is blown into the hot gas and gasified in an energy-efficient manner using the patented ChemQuench process. This produces a synthesis gas containing hydrogen.
High-purity hydrogen (H₂ 5.0) is obtained from the synthesis gas by pressure swing adsorption (PSA). The plants produce up to 2,500 tons per year — plus usable liquid CO₂ as a by-product. Alternatively, the synthesis gas can also be used to produce other high-quality products, such as sustainable aviation fuel, electricity, methanol or methane.
